Amazing discovery with this ultra rare afro boogie 12" by Dick Dickson, a camerounese singer backed by Togolese musicians. Recorded and produced in France, it was pressed at only 500 copies (according to the producer) this scarce little known maxi includes In the Pocket a monster african boogie track opening with huge jazz funk style bassline slap, massive downtempo disco drums, deep synth layer, nice Fender Rhodes solos, nice proto rap female vocal, definitely the kind of track that will make move your dancefloor instantly. One of the best funk track ever released in France ! This is my personal copy, no spare. Cover is strong EX, close to NM, signed on back. Record is strong EX close to NM. Actual soundclip.
