First album by Gwakasonné, a cult gwo ka fusion band founded by guadeloupean musician Robert Oumaou who passed away last year. The whole album which also features Edmony Krater is amazing with track like Algerie 62 mixing Ka percussion with electric bass, e-piano, groovy flute, guitar, and female and male voices singing in canon. W3 (Woy Woy Woy) an unusal cut starting with massive drum machine (very unusual on a gwo ka record). Pita is another deep fusion between gwo ka and spiritual jazz. Antile & Mavounzy is dedication to this 2 great names of Guadeloupean music this time gwo ka is meeting Balafon ! Siklon sound like progressive jazz tune with the beautiful chants of Gwakasonne band. Definitely one of the best album from Guadeloupe, ignored for years, it now gains the Holy Grail Status it deserve. Cover is VG+ (storage wear on back/ small crease). Record is strong EX close to NM. Was unplayed.
