Definitely one of the best and most underrated groovy psych pop album by Bernard Ilous, released in 1974, also on Flamophone, Claude Puterflam's label, two years after the classic french pop self titled album by Ilous & Decuyper. A great cosmic psychedelic pop album with lush arrangement but with a strong groovy jazz funk influence reminding Cortex Troupeau Bleu or Metronomie by Nino Ferrer on some tracks like Pêle mêle, Chanson chagrin or Rondeau. Many effects and studio tricks are used on this album like on La Route À L'envers. No suprise to see the great line up of french studio musicians with Jean-Pierre Alarcen on guitar, André Sitbon and Bernard Lubat on drums, Patrick Gautier & George Rodi on synth, Christian Padovan on bass, Gérard Kawczynski on guitar. One of my favortie french underground pop album ! Cover is strong EX very close to NM, includes lyrics sheet, record is strong EX close to NM. (actual soundclip).
