Extremely hard to find album by Jimmy Blanche privately released and distributed by Gefraco. In demand for the killer hybrid track Mizik A Moun A Kaz, a super catchy fusion between jazz-funk, disco and Ka with almost cheasy synthetic riffs but really efficient on the dancefloor. But the rest of the albulm is very interesting with Liberté Réalité a nice groovy caribbean jazzy gwo ka, or the spiritual La Nou Te Ye with a delicate mix of Ka and marimba. No Apartheid is a great protest gwo ka track blending synth, piano and great vocals. In my humble opinion the best track is the beautiful jazzy ka title song Dou Van Jou with singular drumming part. Probably one of the most overlooked album from the West Indies in the same vein as Erick Cosaque album. Jump on it as it rarely shows up for sale. Record has surface marks plays nice. Cover has a few stickers removal marks nothing serious clean spine.
