Jef Gilson et le Jazz Club de Tananarive - Karma / Pemba (Mega rare Test Pressing dedicated to Jef Gilson)

Not your usual holy grail ! This is the original test pressing of this extremely rare & seldom seen 7", recorded at the Centre Culturel Albert Camus and released in Madgascar in 1969. This clearly impossible to find test pressing version of this mega rare Discomad release, includes the deep version of Pharoah Sanders classic spiritual jazz tune "Karma". B side "Pemba" is even better, this beautiful modal, contemporary spiritual tune shows the freshness of this young african musicians backed by the great and unsung Jef Gilson. Way ahead of its time at the end of the 60's. Do not expect to find another copy of this impossible to find, this comes from one of the musician of the band. The vinyl has evident light surface marks, plays with a few clicks on the intro of the B side then plays EX. Record is sitll shiny. This even raer than the one you saw on Popsike ! Comes with its original sleeve dedicated to Jef Gilson by Arnaud Razafy, guitarist of the famous Malagasy. This is a true collector item, probably the rarest french spiritual jazz record ! I
