Extremely rare 7" by one of the most famous ethiopian singer Menelik Wossenachew. Released on cult labe Ahma, it has been rediscovered thanks to the great Ethiopics series. Both tracks are just beautiful, Mekaberene Liyew is a deep bluesy soul with the typical infectuous ethio jazz sound. Chereka sounds pretty similar to Mulatu or Wallias Band probably because pianist Girma Beyene composed and arranged the track. Marbled record is very clean plays with a few light noises on intro strong VG++. Cover is VG+.
