The Mercators - Musical Environments

Definitely one of the Rarest french Library on Bagatelle. Music composed by guitarist and sitar player Jean-Claude Oliver and performed by unknown obscure studio band "The Mercators also credited as the band behind the famous Derboukas album ! Beautiful album with tracks such as Amazonian Safari a pretty unique crazy exotic funky pop, Sweet Baby Seal a splendid jazz funk cut with tight funky drums, E Piano & sax solo. Mangrove's Roots sounds like a lost track from Pop Instrumental de France. "Parade of roses", a great spiritual modal jazz is by far my favorite, with Fender Rhodes & cuica solos. The "Last ocean" is the wordless pop masterpiece à la Christiane Legrand that every serious Japanese collectors look after. Also don't miss out Blue Flamingo, Break of Dawn & Altitude 8005. Record has a few marks plays very well on most of the tracks. (Just 3 clicks on the less interesting track). Cover is NM. Giveaway price.
